This Privacy Policy describes how MegFit Training ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS app.
Information we collect
When you create an account and use MegFit Training, we collect:
- Account info — your email address and display name
- Onboarding answers — your fitness goal, experience level, training schedule, available equipment, and any limitations you choose to share
- Training data — workouts you complete, weights logged, exercise notes, and timer data
- Activity & food log — activities and food entries you choose to log
- Check-in responses — answers you submit during weekly or trial check-ins
We do not collect contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to:
- Sync your training data across devices
- Personalize your trial program based on your onboarding answers
- Show your trainer your progress and check-in responses so they can adjust your program
- Surface your progress, streaks, and achievements inside the app
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes other than running the app.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which is a Google Cloud service. Google's data handling is governed by Google's own privacy practices.
Third parties
The only third party we share data with is Google Firebase, which acts as our backend infrastructure.
Your rights
- Access — you can view all of your data inside the app
- Deletion — you can delete your account from Profile → Account → Delete Account; this removes your user document, workout history, food log, activities, and check-in responses

Children's privacy
MegFit Training is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
